MIDWEST SPORTSMAN TOURNAMENT FISHING
WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?
The total cost per member to join Midwest Sportsman per year is $60.00. This entitles you to get classic points in the division you choose. You may also fish any Midwest tournament in any division, in any state you wish by simply showing your ID card and pay the tournament entry fee. However if you wish to receive classic qualifying points in multiple divisions, you must pay the $35.00 classic qualifying fee in each division you wish to acquire points...
The following is a comparison of 65% payback circuits and the
Midwest Sportsman payback concept.
We have been asked by many fishermen why we have a $35.00 Classic Qualifying fee. This is the fairest system out there – you get more for your money and YOU SAVE $17.50 during the year on your total tournament fishing costs. These savings can be passed along to you because of the reduced paperwork costs that we get.
Example: If you fish a normal weeknight bass circuit, your Classic and Operating Fees are hidden in your weekly entry fee. In addition you pay a yearly membership of $25.00 per man.
You pay $35.00 per week in that circuit per team to fish. Your money is distributed this way: 65% is paid at the ramp -- $15% goes towards the Classic, and the remaining 20% goes towards the operation of that circuit. At the end of the 12 week tournament season you have paid a total to the circuit -- Membership ($25.00), Classic ($31.50) and Operating Money ($42.00) for a total of $98.50 per man per year.
Midwest Sportsman operates different – You pay $35.00 per week in that circuit per team to fish. Your money is distributed this way: 90% is paid at the ramp -- $10% goes for Operation. Of your $60.00 initial fee ($25.00 Membership and $35.00 Classic Qualifying Fee) it is distributed this way: Classic receives $31.50 and Midwest Sportsman receives $28.50 Membership ($25.00) and Classic Operation Money ($3.50) for a total of $81.00 per man per year.
With the Midwest Sportsman system EACH FISHERMAN SAVES $17.50 during the tournament season.
The Midwest Payback System allows for 90% paybacks at the ramp -- NOT 65% like the other circuits.
The final results are simple:
Bigger Paybacks – Savings to each Fisherman and a Bigger Classic!!!
This is just better tournament fishing . . .
